Catechism Parent Teacher Meeting in St Joseph the Worker Church , Neermarga
The General Body Meeting for the Sunday Catechism year 2022-23 was held in the Church on 15th May,2022 for Grades 1 to 10
Holy Mass was celebrated for the Fifth Sunday of Easter by Rev Fr Anil Canute D Mello, Parish Priest. In his thought-provoking homily he narrated the story of Physically Challenged Girl and the Postman thereby deriving the value of Love —to be sensitive to comprehend others ‘anguish and thereby contribute to reducing their pain through kind words and deeds. He emphasized the fact that Love always builds up. It puts some line of beauty on every life it touches. It gives new hope, new strength and new joy to the lonely and discouraged ones. Further he said “In the Gospel John’s dream of a New City is grounded in reality. Christ, the Son of God who realizes this vision in his own life, gives us His final message—Love one another as I have loved you. We are the Church. How each one of us lives his/her life matters—-every vision of everyday”.
The Liturgy was led by the members of the Fathima Ward.
