With an objective to develop within each child a love for God’s Word and expand their understanding of the Holy Scripture, Bible Quiz for students of grades 5-10 and Bible Story Telling Competitions for grades 1-4 were organized by Commission for Proclamation and Evangelization and Sunday Catechism Teachers of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Neermarga Parish recently.
The rules and regulations of the competitions were reiterated by Mrs. Celestine – Sunday Catechism Coordinator. In the Bible storytelling contest, the participants showcased their panache for oration. They put their best foot forward to deliver their part and in turn gained a lot of insight on how to deliver their pieces with credence and self-composure The creativity and the efforts each student had put into their story shone through in their performance. Though each child was a winner in the eye of the audience, the judges, Sister Mavis A.C- Carmel Ashram, Ms. Rashmi Mascarenhas, Mrs. Molly Crasta, and Mrs. Nora Lobo made the tough decision of declaring winners based on judgment criteria- 1.
